Loarre is a small village in Huesca. There is an important castle.
Loarre´s castle, it is very old and beautiful. It was built in the eleventh and twelfth centuries, because it was situated on a strategic point on the frontier between the Christian north and the Muslim kingdom of Zaragoza to the south. From the castle, Christians controlled Hoya de Huesca and specially Bolea. It was built by Sancho III and Sancho Ramírez, and it is the oldest castle in Spain. In the castle there were stables, a church, and a drawbridge, many years ago.
Few years ago they use Loarre to make a film called Kingdom of Heaven by Ridley Scott director.

Now Loarre is visited by lot of people and there is a bookshop, a ticket office and a gift shop.
I like a lot Loarre, and I have been there three times.
The castle is superb, the views are spectacular and the vultures are flying around the towers every day.

My village

I live in Benasque, a small village in the north east of Spain. There are lots of beautiful places in this village. There’s a skiing resort in Cerler another small village closed to Benasque. And there is a cross country skiing resort in a place called Llanos del Hospital. There are lots of restaurants, hotels and shops.
Aneto mount is the highest mountain in the Pyrenees. My house is next to the church. It’s got three bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen.

My uncle’s got a supermarket.

My village

There is a river called Esera.
My school is next to the Sport Centre.
Very closed to Benasque, there is a small village called Anciles. It´s very beautiful!
There are lots of horses, cows, sheep, pigs…

Cheetahs

Cheetahs are yellow with black spots.
They live in Africa.
They’ve got a small head. They are big.
They eat meat.
They are carnivores.
The cheetah is a big cat.
They also live in small villages in Iran and in the north of Afghanistan.
Weight: between 50 and 60 kilos.
